Learning About Manufacturer Recalls

You may have recently received a recall notice in the mail from the manufacturer of your current vehicle. Many people are unaware of what these recalls are actually for. Essentially, the manufacturer of your vehicle has determined that there is a problem with your specific make and model of vehicle. This issue could be something very simple, or it could be more involved. Regardless of what the issue is, the manufacturer is concerned enough with safety that they want each vehicle to be repaired.

When you receive a notice for a recall, you'll be expected to contact a local dealership. The dealership of your choosing can explain more about the problem, and let you know what needs to be done to fix it. You'll likely have to bring your vehicle in for service. There is no cost to you, as the manufacturer will cover all of the expenses.
