2015 Volkswagen Golf Design

Outside, the 2015 Volkswagen Golf shows off Volkswagen's modular traverse matrix vehicle platform that allows for a more cab-backward design, giving the Golf a refined appearance with classic cues to previous models. Overall length of the Golf has increased by 2.1 inches, and width has grown by a half inch. Inside, the increased dimensions allow for a more spacious cabin. Interior space has increased to 93.5 cubic feet, .6 cubic feet more than the outgoing model. 

2015 Volkswagen Golf Technology and Safety

The 2015 Volkswagen Golf is offered with a ton of tech and safety features. On the tech side is a standard 5.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, a Media Device Interface with iPod integration, a rearview camera, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. On the safety side is a standard Automatic Power-Collision Braking System, adaptive airbags, Intelligent Crash Response System, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. 

 

2015 Volkswagen Golf Performance

The 2015 Volkswagen Golf is offered with two powertrains. First is the EA888 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine mated to a five or six-speed automatic transmission. Second is the all-new EA288 2.0-liter turbocharged TDI Clean Diesel, connected to a six-speed manual or a six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. Both engines offer up a mix of both power and fuel efficiency.
